My favourite day of the week is Monday. I love Mondays because that Acrojazz day.
I love to dance and Miss Melinda is the best teacher ever. She is always so nice and has taught us so much.
I did ballet when I was little and this year started acrojazz. It is really fun because I get to dance and do cartwheels all at the same time.
I can’t wait to dance as Minnie Mouse at our Disney concert.

NCDA has been a wonderful experience for my girls. Melinda’s nurturing nature allows them to learn without pressure. Her patience and warmth is felt by the children and they love her for it, they can’t wait for class.
Melinda is a wonderful and gifted dance teacher! My little girl started her ballet classes at 2 and a half with Melinda. She is now almost 4, and going to her Friday classes is all she talks about the whole week!

I cannot recommend North Coast Dance Academy and Mel enough! We wanted Issy to develop a love of dance without the pressure that we had heard many dance classes can have. Issy feels nurtured and valued in the class and loves every minute. Mel teaches dance so gently that they don’t even know how much they are learning.
My daughter has danced with NCDA for 4 years now and i have watched her grow from a shy little girl into a confident expressive dancer.
She has made new dance friends and credit goes to how professional and caring Miss Melinda is as a teacher!

Miss Melinda does an amazing job introducing ballet to a roomful of toddlers and preschoolers. She’s so patient, fun and inclusive (even with the younger siblings hanging around). It really is a special class.
Miss Melinda is a gorgeous teacher and absolutely amazing with children! not only do they learn how to be beautiful ballerinas; they learn so much about group involvement and self confidence.
I can’t thank Miss Melinda enough, She makes my daughter Alleighahs love for ballet and dance come to life. Instead of seeing her for her disabilities, Miss melinda has helped her embrace and spark her passion and determination to do it despite it. Watching last years recital was literally a highlight of my year. Was so well put together and watchinv alleighah dance on stage was incredible. Alleighah has gained so much more strength and independence from NCDA and the fact that it provides such a inclusive, supportive atmosphere. Miss Melinda you are amazing, you really are the best dance teacher!
My two daughters have attended NCDA for the last two years. In that time, they have both blossomed and grown so much in confidence.
Miss Melinda is bursting with energy, endlessly patient and so compassionate and kind to all the girls.
Miss Melinda seems to tailor the ballet steps so well to each group so that every child feels comfortable. She is also very attuned to each child in the class. It is amazing to watch how she keeps so many small children in order but she does so with a genuine smile. She appears to absolutely love what she does.
I feel truly blessed that my girls have been taught by Miss Melinda. They both start ‘ballet-leaping’ around the room whenever they hear music and I will be forever grateful to Miss Melinda for instilling in them a sense of self-confidence and a great love of dance — from such a young age.
